Land Acknowledgement

Woodsworth Housing Co-op is on Indigenous land. This is the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy (aka. the Six Nations Confederacy), the Wendat, the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. Toronto is within the territory of the Dish with One Spoon Treaty which requires responsibility of those who use the land to share it peaceably and care for it. Now Toronto is home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis.
