The co-op elections are well underway.<\/p>\n

The profiles and photos of candidates were published in his week’s Weekly (November 17, 2024<\/a>). Elections will be held for the Board, the Membership Committee and the Reconciliation Committee. The other positions were acclaimed since the number of candidates matched the number of positions available.<\/p>\n

Advance polls start Friday November 22 for electronic or paper ballots.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

TO VOTE ELECTRONICALLY:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0Friday Nov 22nd\u00a0a link to Election Buddy will be sent to all who have chosen this option
\n\u00b7\u00a0The link to Election Buddy remains open every day until the close of voting on Wednesday Nov 27th, at the end of the AGM
\n\u00b7 You may vote for your choices at any time during this period, Nov 22nd – Nov 27th.<\/p>\n

Watch for an email with your personal link to Election Buddy if you chose that option. \u00a0It is always possible that the email may go into your spam or junk folder.<\/p>\n

TO VOTE BY PAPER BALLOT:<\/strong><\/p>\n

All paper ballots will be available for personal pickup in the mid rise lobby on 3 advance dates and at the AGM<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00b7\u00a0Friday \u00a0Nov 22nd\u00a0from 2pm -7pm in the lobby
\n\u00b7\u00a0Saturday Nov 23rd\u00a0from 10am-2p.m in the lobby
\n\u00b7\u00a0Sunday, Nov 24th\u00a0from 10am-2pm in the lobby
\n\u00b7\u00a0At the AGM on Wednesday Nov 27th in the penthouse<\/p>\n

You will need to sign for the ballot, with proof of identity, either photo id card such as Ontario, school or work ID, drivers’ licence, passport or a recent utility bill.<\/p>\n

Ballots may not be picked up or signed for by proxy.<\/p>\n

If you need accommodation for voting, please call the office. \u00a0You will still need to sign for a paper ballot.<\/p>\n

VOTING AT THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING:<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Ballot Box will also be set up at the \u00a0meeting in the penthouse for those who missed voting. Members can cast their votes until the end of the AGM on November 27th.<\/p>\n

Rules to remember when filling in your ballots:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Members must cast a number of votes equal to the number of positions to be filled. Any ballot which has more or less votes will not be counted.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Members cannot vote more than once for a candidate.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Members cannot appoint someone else to vote for them<\/p>\n

\u2022 Members have to provide identification to receive a paper ballot.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

ATTENDING THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING<\/strong><\/p>\n

The meeting will be hybrid. You can join other members in the Penthouse on Wednesday November 27 or online with Zoom.<\/p>\n

The AGM package with audited statements was distributed to each unit on November 14, 2024.<\/p>\n
